29-2

Typical of case interior, around here priced at least $900-$1000.

At the Ohio Gun Collectors Association meeting last weekend, I spent a little time talking to a gentleman whos restores the wood display cases to like new condition. If your interested, I can dig out his card. He had a few samples of his work with the various interiors and they looked good.

jclect...a member right here on the forum does fantastic work restoring the case interiors...around here...assuming the gun is unfired outside of factory testing....i would say.$8-$900

The 4 inch is very popular and I'd say the prices quoted above are accurate as I also would put it in the $800 to $1000 range depending on where you live.

jclect does excellent work on the presentation cases as I've had several redone by him and he's timely, has fair prices, and does excellent work.

Saw a Nickel 4" with Cokes at a show last year ,
the $1400 ask was a bit more than I could swing but it was really sweet.

Not that this is related to the 4" but I just purchased a 29-2 in nickel with the 8 3/8 barrel. I paid $650 for it but it didn't include anything, just the box. The nickel is in awesome condition with the exceptio of the cylinder that has a few tiny nicks in the nickel from being put down hard?
I'm wondering if S&W can re nickel just the cylinder for me eventually? I bought it to be a shooter and not a safe queen, so maybe have it done eventually.
