I am so thrilled that I finally got the gun of my dreams, a S&W model 29-2, 6 1/2" barrel, blued that I had to show it off a little. Its from around 1968 - 69 with the "S" prefix in the serial number. The presentation stocks are beautiful and the rest of the gun is extremely clean except for a speck of a freckle on one side and a slight turn ring on the cylinder. The SA and DA are as smooth as silk. It came with the original wood display box (which isn't in the greatest shape), half the tools, and no papers. There is absolutely no comparison between this gun and current S&W revolvers - modern guns couldn't even come close to the beauty and function of this bad boy! No wonder "Harry" carried it under his coat
