Model 29-3 Scope mount

So I have a model 29-3 and the barrel is factory broached. I found a smith and Wesson factory scope to put on it. I know the rings are hard to find, but I found these millet high angle loc rings and wondered if anyone ever tried to get these to work. Thanks in advance.

Millet rings

The Millet Angle Loc rings will not not work! The clasp is made wrong and will not tighten up on the base! Here are the clasps of the 29-3, 586-3, & the Millet Angle Locs!

A gentleman on here altered the bases to make them work. I believed he milled the channel where the top of the clasp tightened into. This left bare Al. visible on the base!
