Model 29 .44 mag help

Just bought me a model 29 44 mag 8 3/8 inch barrel
Serial is N357383 the problem I am having is their is no model 29 stamp on the barrel when you open cylinder , and or normally where it would be. Can anyone give me a hint and or help to identify gun.

Pictures would help a lot. The model number should be on the frame visible when you open the cylinder. The SN should be there too. Your 29-2 is from about 1975. And welcome to the Forum, hope we'll see you here often.

When you open cylinder Their is no model number just serial number.

Should be a Model 29-2, but sometimes the step was missed where the MOD. 29-2 would have been stamped. It happened a few times over the years.
