I have a model 29 5 inch 44 mag. commonly referred to as a hill country gun.The gun is in 98-99% condition was wondering if any one could tell me what it might be worth, with box and all paper work ?

There have been several 5" model 29s produced, so photos would help. A recent production gun may be $750 and one from the '50s - '60s may be $3000+ with the original box and contents.

Edit to add: if this is the same gun on which you posted in 5/2013 (:)), it is probably worth $1200 or so in the current market, perhaps higher to someone filling a specific spot in their .44 collection.

Here are the photos. The product code is 101249 and it was completed (ready to ship) on 6/22/1989 per the 9173 Special Order code. Others will be along with more comments. Very nice!
