Model 29 classic ---plastic case

I have a M29 Classic, like this (from the net)

Will the "medium" plastic case work? Or do I need large?

You need a bigger case than the one you are showing. Your barrel length is 8-3/8".

The top pic of the 29 looks to me like a 8 3/8" barrel gun, not a 6 1/2" gun. I have a 629-3 Classic with the 6 1/2" barrel and I bought the large case for it, so I wouldn't put wear and tear on the original cardboard case it came with. The small plastic case that S&W sells is too small for my 629 though (I have both size cases).

Here is a link to the case I bought for my 629 directly from S&W. BTW, it is cheaper than the link on eBay too.

Okay!!! Thanks. Brain fart.....yes 6 1/2" barrel, and I did order from the S&W store.
