Model 29 followed me home.

Howdy all,

First Smith and Wesson purchase in a while. I was at my favorite gun store yesterday and found a very nice Model 29-2. It's all blue and in great shape. Came with its' box, tools, and even the wax paper. Honestly I can't tell if it's the 6.5 or 6" barrel (I think 6" as I didnt look at the box). I couldn't resist for the price. No pics yet, I bought it in Idaho and it has to be transferred across the river to Washington.
Needs stocks and a holster though.

Guy I work with has a Model 29 that he says he bought new back when they first came out. He says he fired six rounds and then put it away. Still has the box and paperwork. I am trying to see if he'll sell, but he's one of those guys who never sells anything, but I'm working on him.
