Smith & Wesson model 29-2. 44 magnum, 6 1/2" barrel, S prefix. Pinned and recessed, dates to appx. 1968. Original diamond target grips. This gun is in stunning condition with the best looking polished blue I've ever seen on a S&W revolver.

My question is should I buy it for $950.00.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Only if you post pictures:) Sounds like a good price to me, here on the right coast (as your looking south) that would be a steal.

Good luck

I paid more than that for a N-series one in unfired, mint condition, with the 8-3/8" tube(I bid too high, though). I would say that that is a very reasonable price in these times.

Model 29

I bought her today and saved a little cash by buying his model 57 no dash in a packaged deal.

I'll see if I can figure out how to post pictures after the 10 day waiting period.

Thanks for your comments!

If that is the same gun I saw on Calguns--I would look VERY
closely to be sure it is not reblued. No offense to
the seller but look it over carefully. Pete

Thanks for the posting the photo's Lackdog!

My gunsmith inspected the guns and since he does his own bluing he gave me the thumbs up.

Thanks for your concern, when they look that clean that is always a concern.

Congratulations on the purcahse as that's one pretty Model 29.
