I have a couple of 10" barreled 29's with the adjustable "silhouette" sights and would like to know just how they are supposed to be adjusted !! (i.e. instructions !!!!!).

I have one and love it! Mine wears a Leupold VX-3 variable with a sideplate mount, so I don't use the iron sights past 50 yards, myself.
(It's also been fitted with an unflutted cylinder to add a little more weight and make it unique.) It sure does tame full house magnum loads!

Anyway, each of the 4 front sight elevation 'clicks' can be adjusted individually to whatever height you want for your desired range.
I think the original silhouette game was 50, 100, 150 and 200 yards.

Remember to push down to lever up the sight before you turn the wheel to select one of the four positions.

I'm not sure what information you're looking for, but I'd set the rear sight at its lowest position (or one turn up from that) then you have to sight in at each of the four distances you choose, using the rear sight adjustment for windage only and the front sight adjustment Allen screws for elevation.

Once sighted in, all you have to do is select the distance using the front sight, but again, don't turn the wheel without lifting the front sight. It has spring tension to keep it down.
