I wasn't sure what forum to post this to so I posted in both revolver forums hoping that was ok.
I tried a Model 29-3 , I think it had an 8 inch+ barrel. It was one of the best shooters I ever tried. I was able to hit the center of the bullseye with all 6 shots out at 10 yards. Very happy right now. My question is whats better to shoot for target practice an older Model 29 or newer Model 29 or one of the newer S&W revolvers? I really want a 44 Magnum with a long barrel. What should I be looking at besides a model 29. Thanks, Howard
