Model 34-1 c.a.1970 Gun Show Find/Pics

kobsw, Very nice 34-1. I have dealt with Jeff on multiple occasions and make sure I find him every Oaks show I attend.

Wetdog, I do the same and have been able to pickup a few other nice examples of S&W revolvers(29-2, 19-3) and one pistol(39-2).

I'll be at the next one looking for a Mod 10, 27 and 28 in the same condition as the 34-1. Jeff will be my first stop.

Regards,

Kobsw

Very nice gun. I saw that gun also while at Oaks. Getting away from J frames but it was tempting. Jeff seems to have a way of finding nice Smiths.

I assume you saw the three different near new nickle 19-3s he had also. One was a red ramp to boot.

Pap... Thx and I did see the 19's.

I have a nice example of a blued 1970 19-3(Featured here), no red ramp, but original box and extras from Jeff.

At the Oak's show he has the very best S&W's.

There are a couple others but they're too much $$

hk, very nice, that gun is ready for the field for sure with that finish.

Yeah it's definitely a shooter. Since the pic I've polished it up a bit so it's a dead ringer for a 63.

Except for the front sight...S&W in their wisdom made the 34s with a simple blade and the 63s with a ramped blade. A forum member was kind enough to point this out when I briefly wondered if indeed I had a mis-marked 63.
