Model 351 PD

I am considering buying one of these but wondering how well an aluminum cylinder will hold up over time. I have a Mod 317 in 22lr that has held up well, but a 22 Magnum is much hotter. Anyone have any long term experience with this revolver?

I have a 351pd and it allways shoots high and to the right . I have changed the grips several times and also tried all kinds of ammo and it still shoots high and to the right . I like the gun all but the accuracy.
I have 2 mod 317 3" and 2" and they both out shoot the 351pd.

I think I would send it back to Smith&Wesson for a fix!

I had a problem w/ my 351PD only firing 3 rounds per cylinder...they fixed it and returned it quite quickly.

I had one for about a year. I found the trigger to be quite heavy and didnt like the way it shot past 10yds. I sold it and picked up a 648 with a six inch bbl. I guess it all depends on what you want to do with the revolver.

I ordered a 351Pd for the wife (have not picked it up yet). The S&W website's description says that it has adjustable rear sights. Is this true?

Thanks for the input, it is definately food for thought. The one I'm looking at does have a quite heavy trigger and fixed sights. Perhaps the heavy trigger is to insure the rounds ignite.

Took the 351PD to the range Friday, it functioned fine. The accuracy was ok, a little more recoil than I expected. The wife was happy and that is what counts
