Model 36 date check

I got chief special 36 no dash serial no. Ccs7259. Any body can tell me date of production? And is't chrome or stainless steel?

I think the serial number prefix is well past the era of the model 36 (1986), unless it is a commemorative or other special production gun. Are you certain it is not stamped 36-3 or -7 in the yoke cutout?

The prefix appears to be from early 1999, BTW.
