... a friend of my son was given a S&W Model 36 from his granddad. He brought it by for me to check out. The gun is in excellent shape, bluing & original grips.

I may buy the revolver from him as he wants a Glock.

Can someone please tell me the approximate date of shipping?

The serial number (if I read it correctly) is 97850.

It's fine that the young man wants a Glock, but it sort of sux he's willing to sell a gun from his Grandfather to get one. If he does sell it, I'll bet he comes to regret his decision at some point in his life.
