When I have unfired rounds in the cylinder, pointed down range, the cylinder rotates without the cases rubbing. After I have fired all 5 rounds and try to pull the trigger again, yeah I didn't count my shots, the fired cases are rubbing some where around the firing pin area.
My question, is there something wrong with my pistol? Is there somre adjustment I can make?
Thanks,any help would be appreciated.

With pistol UNLOADED, inspect the firing pin bushing hole. Side the thumbpiece back, hold, and cock the hammer. Gently lower hammer, and inspect firing pin protrusion through the FP hole. Are there any burrs or irregularities, or chips missing? A deformed FP or FP bushing is what usually causes fired primers to protrude and stick against the recoil shield. If mild burring, you can stone or polish it off GENTLY using a piece of abrasive cloth wrapped around a flat popsicle stick. If damage is more severe, it will need the attention of a gunsmith.

I've seen it once; shooter was using very weak 38 spl reloads in a J frame. As Dave described, primers were backing out but the loads were so weak that recoil did not reseat the primers. You can try regular factory +P loads. If the problem remains then it could be damaged bushing.

I checked the firing pin bushing. It has a little bit of a burr, used your method with the rough cloth and seemed to get rid of some of it. I will have to go to the range to verify.
I did notice that the FP bushing is recessed about .oo1". Is this normal or could that be letting the primers shift?
I have shot only 50 Remington factory and 10 +p rounds through it. I am not going to continue using the +p rounds as I have found out that I shouldn't.
Thanks
