Model 36 ship date

I apologize for this being a repeat. I think I placed my first post incorrectly. I am new to this forum and new to Smith and Wesson firearms. I have inherited a Model 36 with the serial number of AAU3251. I am interested in the ship date (if not the date of manufacture) and any information on this firearm that anyone is willing to share. Can anyone help please?
