Model 36 year age?

New to this forum, but not to this site. I have been living over in the M&P 15-22 forum. Today I picked up a Model 36 38 Spl. I believe it is a "Chiefs Special". It is blue with wood grips and a pinned barrel. Serial number J162XXX. I'm guessing 60's. It's a beautiful revolver, my first at that. It just felt better than all the new ones I handled. Any input?

Yes. You are going to like it!
After carrying a 2" K frame for many years and occasionally a short barrel .45 or .40 autoloader, I switched a while back to carrying a Chiefs Special. Now it goes everywhere I go. More comfortable to pack and not a bit harder to shoot than the K frame (at least for me).
You will fall in love with that little J frame puppy.
