Model 37 age?

I'm considering purchasing an S&W Model 37. The serial number is 3J37xx. The pics look like the blued finish is still extremely good, and the bbl appears to me to be pinned. Seller is asking 425. Any help with an idea of it's age/value would be appreciated!

1971-72. $375 would be $50 better! It's probably a good deal in CA.
