I can get a really nice 39-2 with two mags and a really pretty blue for $350-$375. Hardly shot and in 95% condition or so. Should I get it or not? Thanks!

Thanks guys! I always look on Gunbroker or something to see if the price is right, but I just don't know enough about these older S&W's. I wasn't sure if there was anything bad about them, or something to look for, or anything like that. I'm going to look at it in person now then, so hopefully all goes well =). I think it has the box and some papers, but not positive. Thank you again guys!

That's a sweet pistol man, but I ended up telling the guy I would take his for $275 and a knife and he agreed. Man, it doesn't even look like it's been shot, but it does have 2 tiny (really light) scratches. I think my battery is shot on my camera or something. I just used it last week sometime, but I just charged the battery all the way and it wont turn on. I don't know what's up with it. I'll post pics of this one and a pre-model 19 Combat Mag I got a few days ago. Man, I've been seeing several good deals on old revolvers in the past week. I just found a nickel 8" Colt Python as new for $750, S&W 28-2 Highway Patrolman flawless except slight cylinder ring original box $550, like new 586-1 $500 obo, and a 10-5 5" barrel new in box for $400. I'm checking into the Python, but if anyone is interested in these others let me know and I will get you the contact info.

LOL! I am just learning about these older S&W's. Man, it seems like every time I turn around i see a nice one. I'm gonna end up homeless with a bunch of guns....geez.
