I'm new to this. I am trying to find out when a gun was manufactured. S&W 39-2 serial A0329xx. Thanks

Are you sure of that serial number.
The lowest 39-2 that I have seen started with A15xxxx and shipped in 1971.
Early 39-2 had barrel marked 9MM CTG.
After Serial Number A160000 the barrel marking changed to simply 9MM.
