Model 39, Pachmayr/Peters Stahl .22 Conversion Kit

I just purchased a Pachmayr/Peters Stahl .22 Conversion Kit for my S&W Model 39-2 (Hole in the Hammer). Two other bidders cost me an additional $181.00 for it.

The serial number A-39.000XX would indicate it was one the first one hundred that was manufactured. It comes in a wooden box, but it does not appear to be a Pachmayr box. It also has no instructions with it. I don't think it has the extra parts for the Model 59 conversion.

have never seen that type of box with these kits. they were expensive back in the day, quite accurate. extra mags will be a major pain in the backside to find. all the kits I have seen had the pachmayr name on a wood box with a sliding lid.

I agree on that box. After I bought it, I asked to see a picture of the top of the box. He has now not responded to two of my messages since the purchase.

Does anyone know MG34_DAN personally? I would like to ask him for a copy of the instructions he has, but he hasn't been logged on to the forum since 10-16-2014. If you could call him or e-mail him for me, it would be great.

I picked up my Pachmayr/Peters Stahl .22 Conversion Kit yesterday. The box has no labeling on it, but it really appears that it was designed for this kit.

Since the kit is suppose to work with both the Model 39 and Model 59, the kit I purchased must be missing the Model 59 conversion mag.
