In the box should be a fired case in a manila envelope that has the date on it.

Thanks for ship date. It shows me that I'm having a light primer strike compared to the test fire at smith. I'm working my way thru the lots of info on the forum on solutions.

Did you field strip it and clean it prior to shooting. If so, did you try a few brands of ammo to see how your new Model 41 would perform using different ammo. Was any modifications done to the pistol like changing out of springs? Good luck.
Give it a complete cleaning and use a toothpick around the firing pin edge. Let it soak real well with something like Hoppe's No.9 as well. That may make a big difference. I would also recommend CCI SV ammo if you can get it for this gun as well.
