That's a nice looking barrel! If you check completed listings on eBay, you'll see what they go for.

I gave $250 for an older 7 3'8 barrel with the comp not long ago . $300-500 sounds high to me , but go with your gut . If you're buying , get it as cheap as you can . If you're selling , get as much as you can . Just my 2 cents .......
