Model 41-Hallmark and year stamped at serial no.

Hi,
I've recently bought an 'A' serial numbered Model 41.
It has a couple of hallmarks and a 73 ( year of manufacture) stamped just before the serial number on the frame.
Any idea what that's about?
I'll try post a pic but this iPad keeps crashing me out when I try..

Apart from the '73' it has a dragon with mouth open and three humps and below that an 'N' with some kind of banner or wings above it..

Just answered my own question. They are proof marks from German proofing house at Ulm

As you have found out these are proof marks.
I have a 41 with similar stamps, mine being London proof marks.
Please still include a picture when you can.

I'm sorry but I've only see your reply now. I mustn't have email notification activated.
I'll get a few photos together. They were for Ulm proof house in Germany.

Secured that Model 41-1 I mentioned in your other thread!

Serial no. for your info is: 74576 stamped Model 41-1 and with box again marked 41-1
