Has anyone seen or heard about a shorter then stock trigger for a Model 41?
I have short fingers and a trigger with less of a reach would nice.
I have herrett trainer stocks and I don't think I can get much smaller grips.
The pull on my High Standard is about right.
I need a short trigger on a 1911 frame.

I've never seen one. The Model 41 trigger is hinged at the top, it doesn't slide back into the frame like a 1911. I don't see how the trigger could be any further back since its already right at the frame and needs clearance to move back during the pull.

I'm considering making my trigger narrow. It works on my revolvers.
Now i'm only contacting the trigger on the right side. This tends to toss my shots to the left unless i'm perfect in my trigger pull.

Anything can be done. How much shorter do you need it to be? You could bend it and then lengthen the trigger guard by removing some metal from behind it.
