Model 41 with a revolver rear sight ?

On another forum, there is a mod 41 5.5"HB for sale, and it looks to have a "new style" revolver type rear sight. When did these come out? Never saw one before.

Somewhere between 1997 and 2000, my serial number started with VAT which does not show in the book,the other one on the forum starts with UAR, which also doesn't show.

I purchased a UAR prefix gun in 1998 with the revolver sight.A later UAW gun that I have,does not have this type of sight.
