Model 42-2: what's the change?

Does anyone know what the engineering change (or other reason) is on the Model 42-2 Centennial revolver vs. the 42-1? The SCSW doesn't even list the 42-2 and I'm unable to find the info through a forum search or elsewhere. Thank you!

I believe -1 is no lock and -2 has the lock. My 642-1 is like that so I would imagine it would be the same for the Model 42.
