So I must either be patient or tenacious. I've been looking for a box for this revolver for an entire decade. I found one on Ebay that was buy it now for 130.00 or start bidding at 90.00. I asked a friend if he'd bid or buy it now? I think he thought I was crazy. He said how long you been looking? Is it worth 40.00 to wait another 10 years 😆 I bought it.

Ben, there's another current thread on this forum about regrets for selling things...

Long ago when I was stationed in San Antonio for short training thing, I was all hot on finding a used Remington 1100 in 12 ga. that looked like it was new. So many appear like the owner paddled their canoe to and from the duck blind, beat their dog, and hacked their way through the reeds with them so I knew it would be a hard find, especially in Texas. While walking down an aisle of gun show , I happened across one that checked all the boxes. Only the Lord knows why I suddenly decided it wasn't 'right' and decided to come back. Of course, when I did, it was gone. About a year later at the same show, I stumbled across another one that was even more perfect. I asked the guy if I could 'look at it with my hands' and he obliged. There was one guy breathing down my neck and looking over my left shoulder and another guy looking over my right. I knew if I set it down, it would be gone. The little guy between my ears tried to slap the stupid out of me and managed to get me to pull out my wallet and bring it home. If you want to know how the saga of that gun ends, read that thread about regrets for selling things...

Big D, Glad you found the box and bought it!!

Perhaps, but you beat me "speaking up" by about four minutes yesterday. Remember a kit gun box and more yesterday? Four minutes. . . . .
OK, Jeff, so next time it's your turn to beat me by 4 minutes...But I've got two little 2" orphans crying for their own box, and I still gotta find one for the other!...You know how it is... :giggle: ...Ben
