Hi there, I have a smith and wesson 52-2 that I would like to try and find out when it was made. Ser # A58949x

Also I would like to sell this gun, it's in great condition 1 mag and pachmayr grips. What is the approximate value?

Your model 52 was manufactured probably late 1979 or early 1980

Value is also conditional on where the firearm is. If it is already in a restricted State, it will have more value than if it is in a FREE State.

In my neck of the woods a clean 52 missing the original grips, with only one mag and no box, docs or tools would probably top out at $750 or so.

Thanks for the info, yes it's in California and it's roster exempt due to the fact it's a bullseye gun.
