Model 52 Bag-O-Gun update #2
Took the M52 to the range on Friday before the Tulsa gun show. It had numerous failure to eject and load the next round although it did shoot accurately. Brought it home and installed a new 8# recoil spring I had in my parts bin. Took it out to the range today and it preformed flawlessly. So. I now have a working M52-2 for around $400. I'm happy with it. It has some cosmetic issues but I think I will leave it as is and shoot it. I did find a pair of wood grips that were stained black. After soaking in acetone and 5 coats of Tung oil look pretty good.
