I was fortunate to bring this little gem home with me today. A Model 520 .357 that someone added a lanyard swivel. When the previous owner purchased it from someone here on the forum, he then sent it in to Bowen Custom Arms for a makeover. It was given a . 45 Colt caliber change. The front sight was replaced with a half moon. The trigger and action is smooth as glass. It was sold to me with some wooden magna's. I tried on a set of relieved diamond target stocks, and an early set of pre-war gold medallion service stocks. I really like the way the gold medallions look, with the exception of being a little too long as expected. I have some KB stocks arriving later today, we will see what they look like when they get here. Which do you prefer?

I know which I prefer, but go for what is best for your hand! Bob

The Keith Brown fish hooks were delivered today, these babies are super nice. They may be a little too fancy for a no frills sidearm, but they are sucking me in.

I will be the oddball.... the service stocks look great!

Semper Fi brother

Semper Fi.
I keep thinking about having some grip adapters made that are a mix between the pre-war and the Tyler T grip in brass to use with service stocks or shaved Magnas. Maybe with a light film on the back to protect the blue frame finish.

Hmmmmmm, what would I go with??

Oh I know, how about some Spegels...? :)

How about a pair of short Targets...

Or a pair of Boot Plus...

While I'm partial to Spegel checkered Boots, I'm not sure it "fits" on the M520

Here's a comparison between the checkered Boots and the Targets...

Congrats on getting that gun, Love the 45 Colt round, that should be a sweet shooter... !! And I really like that round front sight. Nice overall package...
