I purchased one of these a few years ago that was like new in original box. Knowing it was collectible and sure to go up in value with time, I never shot it. Then one day, I found this gem on GB. It had no box, the wrong grips (standard magna instead of the correct PC magna's) and some minor bluing loss at the muzzle from being holstered. It cost me just under $800, which I feel was a bargain. I dressed it up with some smooth magna grips and now have a classic gun that I'm not afraid to shoot. And it is quite a pleasure to shoot. Ironically, the slightly worn gun was a much better gun, mechanically, than the NIB example. It locks up like a bank vault and has an excellent trigger (where as the NIB gun had quite a bit of cylinder play and a terrible trigger). So I sold the safe queen and kept the shooter. I'm glad you plan to shoot yours. I think you will be quite pleased with it.
