Hi guys,

Any advice for loading my new to me - Model 53? I picked up one off GunBroker last Saturday, a 1961 vintage 6 incher. Ordered some Remington Jet brass from Midway today and still own some Redding dies from my first Model 53 that I owned for a little while in the early 90's.

This newly acquired one appears to have been reblued and the action is quite stiff, so a trip to Hamilton Bowen is in its future. My experiences with Hamilton on both S&W's and Ruger have always been delightful.

Plan to use this 53 to chase jackrabbits on the Texas panhandle later this summer.

Regards,
