An outstanding job by Goofy Mastiff Mercantile.
I don’t have the original box but this is something special.
Top notch workmanship.
Highly recommended.
He’ll make whatever you want. Any lock style.. all custom.

Some first class work right there. The Model 53 deserves such treatment. Very nice.

Yes. With the extra cylinder and inserts, it needs more than just a gun sock or a regular case.
It’s really a model for the enthusiast and collector with all the extras.
I figured it deserved a custom case.
He makes these really for the love of the hobby.
For what I received, hand made custom With beautiful mahogany figuring, it was peanuts $$ wise.
In the mean time while making this, he got hit with that major NC flood.
Flooded his workshop but he cleaned up and soldiered on like a pro.
I’m very grateful.

He made one for my M1911A1 a while back. It held the gun and a box of period 45 ACP. A little over a month ago, I commissioned another for my 1932 Colt ACE. It holds a spare magazine and a box of period Rem. Dog Bone ammo. The ACE is near and dear to my heart. About 98%+.
