Model 57 pricing

I am bidding on a 6" blued M57-1 on gunbroker. The gun is pinned and recessed. I would say the gun is in above average condition from looking at the gunbroker photos. It does not appear to be pristine, but it is no "shooter" either. The listing does not mention a box or paperwork, so I are bidding solely on the M57.

Again we are talking ballpark figures, since I do not have photos, and we are not supposed to refer to other active auction sites.

My max bid is $700. I am in Texas and the .41 mag is pretty much of a "dead horse" here. I recently sold a "like new" Model 58 and I am having seller's remorse. I am a 1911 and M29 guy, but I did enjoy shooting my M58 prior to selling it.

I have gotten only a few responses off this forum, several off a local forum. In fact, I took the thing to Florida with me last month and stopped in south Georgia to trade it but I had been mis-lead by the other person.

S&W 57 revolvers rarely come up for sale in metro Atlanta and are usually over $1,000.00 if complete with box, tools, papers.
