It is in 90% with wood box and mop and brush. I would say it has a pinned 6" barrel and they are asking 600.00.
Sorry for the lack of info just thought you guys would know better than I

BUY IT!

I have 3 model 57s only one came with a box and the least I paid was $775. Even though prices have seemed to be dropping a little bit lately, $600 for a gun as you describe is a good deal. JMHO

It is a non dash model he claims in a wooden s&w box. I dont know that much about S&W prices.
thank you

+1

It sounds like you can't go wrong with this. I have two model 57's myself.

It all depends on how you define a 90% gun !

Buy my definition that is too much money.

well...aside from the grips a 90%gun (if it is) is just not that great of condition...if it has only been shot a few times and stored in a safe...why only 90%?in the last pic the bottom of the presentation case appears damaged...as if it is water damage...i would have some questions of the seller...hope this helps

I'd have to see the frame under the grips before I'd consider the gun shown. S&W would have never let a gun out the door with grips fitted in such a way.

My 57 no dash is my favorite gun, period - and I've got a lot of revolvers.

I only paid $500 for my 57, but I would not take $900 for it. It's in perfect shape, and who knows if I could replace it?

I've actually been finding quite a bit of .41 mag brass and bullets, although it takes a little shopping.

I think I know whats wrong with the grips , the pin inside at the bottom has worked out of one grip side , allowing the grips to twist .Put it back in and they will line up nice and tight- till you shoot it again .
My m-57 does it a lot while shooting heavy loads.

Thank you for your comments and help.
Ive always wanted one along with a 29
