Model 57

A guy is selling a 6" Model 57 in a presentation box. The gun looks great in the photographs BUT it is a stain nickel finish [his term not mine].
Has anybody heard of such a factory configuration? I am far from being an expert but thought they only came in blue or a bright nickel finish.
Any help would be appreciated!

Satin nickel on the 57 is not a cataloged finish

It could be a factory finish applied at the time the revolver was ordered or sent back for a re-finish.

If it is shooter priced, you can't get hurt. If it is premium priced as for proof of factory finsih
