Model 586, 6in

Placed one on lay away this morning. So no picks available yet. It is a no dash model S/N: AJY88XX M the M telling me it has had the modification work done on it. Condition is 95% with origional grips. Unfortuantly no box. Would apprieciate birthdate range of this revolver from those of you in the know.

Congrats! I just picked up a 4" 586-3 and it's one of my favorite guns.

Good choice. I've had a 6" no-dash 686 since they first came out and just recently added a 4" 586 no-dash. I'd be curious to know what you paid for it.
