Model 59, grip question

Asking for a friend…. Did model 59 ever come from factory with Pachmyar grips?

Me neither on the question but unlikely. Had one in the mid-seventies but grip to fat for my liking.

Nope. Back then, S&W handguns came with genuine S&W stocks, wood for the single stack 9mm pistols and revolvers, black plastic for their futuristic Model 59. The black plastic stocks were also standard on the second generation x59 pistols.
