Bought this Model 60, made 1980. Just wondered if anyone could identify the engraving or the S 04 on right side of grips at bottom. Sorry photos aren’t great.

That looks like a nice little carry gun. Add a little class to the evening out.

The S 04 on the grip frame are fitter and inspector marks.
I think that he is talking about this "S 04", which are not fitter or inspector marks. They probably are the engraver's mark. But I do not recognize it.
