Model 60 optics?

Is it possible to put a low profile red/green dot or holosight on a Model 60? How difficult/expensive?

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to get an adjustable sight model 60 that is already drilled and tapped under the rear sight, then put an optic mount and optic on that.

The potential problems may be - finding a proper mount, inadequate rail surface to keep the optic in place, and having that big lump on top of your nice skinny revolver.

I don't know of any red dot sights small enough to be usable on a J Frame.

It seriously negates the purpose of a very compact and concealable revolver.

Without questioning why in the world you would want to do that, yes it can be done. If you have a model 60 that is drilled and tapped, it would cost you about $60 plus the cost of whatever sight you put on it.

I don't know anything about this product but apparently a mount like what you want exists….
