Sure hope I'm posting this in the right place. I've searched and connot find a model 60 picture thread, forgive me if I missed it. I just traded for my third one (thanks Larry). I believe the 60 is one of the finest carry guns ever made and enjoy seeing how other folks have customized or dolled up theirs. How 'bout some pictures.

Two of My Model 60'S

Here are my two Model 60's. One Plain, and one aftermarket engraved.

Here's a Model 60 that's one of the first 39 made up in a pilot production run in 1965 (serial numbers 401754 through 401792). My understanding is that these were intended to be utilized for promotional purposes and as saleman's samples. The guns from this initial batch were all highly polished, with a distinctive bright stainless hammer and trigger.

I used to dream of "dolling up" a Model 60.

Figured it would be awesome if they would offer it with adjustable sights, and a little-bit longer barrel, grips other than those measly slabs.

Then one day I was at a gun show, and I saw this.

My only 60, a handful shooting 357, but it puts a smile on my face.

I carried this gun a lot at one time. Bought it new DAO from the factory with the despurred hammer.

Found mine a couple of years ago. No dash, warranty card filled out with a date of 1973. Got the box too. It wears a set of modern fish scales, thanks to a member. I put some rosewoods on that I had laying around for a pic some time ago.
She goes most places with me.

Best, Rick
