I recently acquired a model 60 no dash (made in 67). The cylinder bolt stop drags on the notches of three chambers when you cock it single action but not double action, this is very slight but noticeable if you cock slowly. If this were a single action Ruger I would take a little of the top of the hand, would this be appropriate with a S&W. The gun appears to be in like new condition and shot very little, probably spent most of it's life in a night stand. Thanks for any advice : Bill

Fixed,a little of the top of the hand and clean up the burs on the cylinder bolt notches and polished bolt.

Just wanted some advice before I tried working on it but got no answers so went ahead. There was some good info on this site that helped, have more experience with Ruger single actions and their timing works a little differently.
