I have a Model 60, .357 with a 3" barrel. The trigger is stiffer than my other Smiths', but when depressing the trigger, it seems to hit a "speed bump" before the trigger breaks which is even stiffer than the initial pull. Is this normal, or am I looking at getting a trigger job?
Thanks!

Your bump is probably when the cylinder locks. J frame guns won't have a trigger like other frames due to the mainspring. Just shoot it / dry fire it and it should settle down.

The trigger on my model 60 Pro was pretty good right out of the box! But I still put the Apex Duty and Carry Spring kit in it!
