Model 60 Square butt 3 inch

I bought a new stainless Chiefs Special at the Greenville Gunshot this Sunday. No box, but in excellent condition. I am not sure if it has ever been fired. The first couple of photos show it with my Mod 37 Airtight showing the Mod 30 has the square butt and heavy barrel.

I believe the AEW serial number suffix is associated with 1985, and there were some heavy barrel square butt Mod 60s made in that time frame but it is a no dash model number gun. I paid $850 out door, with a spare set of Pachmyer grips and a gun sock. Maybe a a little high but I have dealt with the gentleman before and he stands by his sales.
It looks pretty good in the AirWeight's holster. My granddaughter will likely talk me out of it

Great score on a very desirable gun. Those were originally ordered for Jon Jovino as a special order, along with some 2-inch guns with the same square-butt configuration.

That 180 was a typ0, it was 850 and I am happy with that given the condition
