Please give me some tips on how I can improve the trigger pull, particularly DA, on my Model 60.

I'm inclined to just get a Wolff spring kit and leave it at that, but is there anything else I should do while I have it apart such as polishing any particular pieces, etc.?

What weight springs would you recommend?

For a gun to be used for defense, recommend the same weight as the old stock S&W springs. Gives a double action pull 9 to 10 lbs.
J frames aren't K-L frames, and you can get into misfire trouble quicker.
Usual polishing on rebound slide, sides of moving parts, applies.

Thanks, OKF. A model 60-4 doesn't have any MIM parts that I need to be carefull polishing, does it?
Should I polish with something like 2,000 grit paper, followed by a Dremel with rouge?

What OKFCO5 said. Never say Dremel when it comes to you S+W action.
JMHO, worth what you paid for it.
