I went to the LGS/range last night with my son to shoot a few. We stopped at the revolver case to browse on the way out and I did a triple-take: a pinned Model 60, in the box with papers. He was in a hurry, so I went back today. This shop has probably 50 yards of semi-auto displays but 10 feet of revolvers, so I wasn't too worried. And, of course, it was there!
It had near-new Uncle Mike's grips on it. Maybe carried some and shot a few times. It's very dirty, but in very good shape. I looked it up in SCSW; 6567xx should make it around '68, do y'all agree?

I love my little 60. It's usually just stuck in my pocket while I'm doing chores around the homestead. Summertime 2 38 shot shells up first followed by 3 158gr lswchp. Cooler weather just the 158s.

Is it just the picture, or is there something on the hammer spur?

Yes, the previous owner put heat-shrink on it. When I took that off, it had rust underneath. There was a ton of dirt under the side plate and surface rust spots near the screw holes on the frame. Everything cleaned up pretty well, though.
