Model 610

Hey guys, what is the dash number of the new model 610's.Did they make any changes?

It will have MIM parts(not an issue in my mind) and the "HOLE"(don't like it but I have a couple that are so equipped and it hasn't been a problem) but other than that the 6.5 looks just like my first issue. If I was in the market for a 10 in a wheel gun, I would get one! I really like my older one. You might check the Mother Ship's WEB site for additional details.

Hey guys, what is the dash number of the new model 610's.Did they make any changes?

The new one is a 610-3, as was the last one produced prior to discontinuing them. I have one of the older ones, but have not seen the new ones, so I'm not sure about changes, but apparently not enough change, if any, to warrant a change in dash number.

Here's mine, with Ahrends Retro Banana Grips, I can't stand the originals.

Moonclipmaster’s recent odyssey with the mothership over issues with his 610 has left a bad taste in my mouth for any new S&W’s. I have a 6.5” no dash and was thinking of getting the new 4” (or 3.whatever”), but now I’m considering the GP-100 Ruger in 10mm.

One problem doesn't make a trend

People, including myself, have had issues with their S&Ws. Sometimes the factory makes it right & sometime they miss.

Inspect closely what you want to buy & don't let the not so good outweigh the good.
