Hey guys, need some info, ive found a 4 in m617 new in box, i need to know will my vintage round butt s&W round butt combat gripps fit this gun and do you guys think 799 shipped is a fair price. thanks in advance

617's in 4" are hard to find, you just have to pay the price!
I love the one I have!
I don't know about the grips.

The earlier production 617's are built on the square butt K frame, late models are built on the round butt frame, so if the 617 you found is fairly new your old grips will fit. All 617's are fabulous revolvers and tough to find these days!
