Model 617 standard lug?

Does anyone know if Smith & Wesson manufactured a Model 617 with a standard extractor lug similar to a Model 17 ? A special run or some for a Distributor?

They made a run for Ashland Shooting Supply in the early 90's in both 4" and 6" barrel versions. Very scarce and very pricey...

That scoundrel Frakes (GF) has 2 of them! Or so he says. We should tie him to a tree out by the swamp some warm summer night. Its not right he has them and I don't.

Ashland in the 80s or 90s, if memory serves. 4 and 6 inch, again, if memory serves.
